Chased (2009) gay short film by Branden Blinn
More and more bi-sexual men have been reaching out to us, asking us to tell their stories. It turns out their lives aren’t so black and white, and the love and sexuality they discovered for members of their same sex didn’t come from a place of longing, or even lust, it came from a place of deep connection and love. CHASED is one such story. Yes, it’s been edited considerably for YouTube, because it’s the only way we can give it a platform for a wider audience. If you are so inclined, you can see the unedited version for a nominal fee on our pay-per-view channel at www.brandenblinn.com.
Regardless, we hope you enjoy it, and if you find yourself in a similar situation, we encourage you to muster the courage to stand true to who you are and step into the experiences your heart and or soul are pulling you to have. Life isn’t about standing on the sidelines and spectating; it’s about being down here on the playing field immersing oneself fully in the game.
Charlie and Seth, best friends in college, discover they share a mutual sexual charge when a brush with a group of punks lead to a hair-raising chase on their way home from a bar one night, the question remains…what to do about it.

Blue eyes, black hair | Jérôme Delbey
Blue Eyes, Black Hair is a danced adaptation of the eponymous novel by Marguerite Duras.
The theme of the play asks the question of love between two people who do not have the same sexual preference. How to accept then that the other does not come closer to his own desires? The real message is a deep love, the pleasure associated with it, the pain too. In the center of the story, a “funeral place”, a theatre scene, a room where love is impossible. Lying, motionless and naked, a man and a woman, blue eyes black hair like “the young stranger” whom they both love, whom they lost and weep for losing. At the same time the woman weeps over her desire for the man and the man to be prevented from desiring her. Or rather it is said that they weep, themselves do nothing, exposed, sacred, designated to worship. Everything revolves around a terrible and unspeakable moment, when everything has been unveiled and stolen in a flash. This fatal moment, the characters reenumerate the illumination and the mystery, the sudden vision of a man with blue eyes and black hair.
Jérôme Delbey was born in 1975 in Croix (France). He began his dance training in his hometown at the “Ecole nationale de danse“ in Tourcoing. He also studied 3 years at the “Ecole supérieure d´arts appliqués et du textile“ in Roubaix and, in 1993, graduated with a degree in applied arts. He then joined the “Jeune ballet international“ in the “Ecole supérieure de danse Rosella Hightower“ in Cannes (France). After 11 years in Germany with the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Theater Regensburg, Jérôme was engaged in 2006 by The GöteborgsOperans Danskompani (Sweden).
In addition to creating several works for workshops and freelance projects he choreographed “Mauvais Anges“ for the Göteborg Ballet in 2007 – which was awarded with the “Scapino Production Price “ at the 22nd International Choreography Competition in Hannover (Germany) in 2008 and the 3rd Price at the Cross Connection International Choreography Competition in Copenhagen (Denmark) in 2009 -,“Skin” for the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam in 2009, “Soldat” in 2010 with the dancer Erik Johansson, “I shall die in Florence” for The GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, “Hel Haldi Sínu” for Iceland Dance Company in 2012 and more recently “Blue… Almost transparent” for NuDans 2015 with students from Balett Akademi Stockholm and Göteborg.
Jérôme Delbey is as well set, costume, graphic and light designer. He has created all the designs of his own dance pieces but also for choreographers such as Thomas Zamolo, Moritz Ostruschnjak, Hokuto Kodama, Heather Telford or Dan Langeborg, Fernando Melo.
He´s been recently working with choreographer Fernando Melo on the creation of the costumes for his new creation “Pepper´s Ghost” for Norrdans (Sweden) as well as for “Re:Play” and “Dream Play” for the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet (USA).

Beatific Vision is a Gay Spiritual comedy about getting what you need as opposed to what you think you want. What does Michael do when his lover of fourteen years, Chad, dies from brain cancer? Michael does not have much time to grieve when Chad as an angel immediately comes back to him. Chad has seen Michael’s future and now takes it upon himself to guide and nudge Michael along his path. Chad’s psychiatrist, Damien, has agreed to support Michael in this process but as hard as Damien tries he cannot deny his infatuation with Michael. The seemingly unrelated “coincidences” begin to fall into steps of Michael’s path when cute boy toy Bryan arrives on the scene the night after scattering Chad’s ashes. Damien’s x-wife, Pat and Michael’s best friend, Barbra add to the mix and are also guided by Angel Chad to their destiny. Like a board game, Angel Chad provides just the right amount of clues to Michael to begrudgingly move him towards his ideal future.

Mario (2018) gay romance by Marcel Gisler – Trailer
Mario is an up-and-coming football star on a fifth-tier league near Thun. Captain, he has the most promising career in the league and works daily alongside his agent and manager, who is also his father, to ensure he will make it into a 1st League group in the coming year. During training for the current season, the team adds another striker, Leon, from Hanover.
The two get along from the beginning and share a flat near to the field, where they begin a relationship. On an overnight trip for an away game, they are spotted kissing by another player, who tells the rest of the team. While Mario and Leon’s manager, coach, and agents have no personal objections to their homosexuality, they do not want to risk the public and fans becoming aware, claiming there is a “certain image” to maintain in the world of football. Mario and Leon reluctantly agree to deny their relationship for the sake of their careers and make token attempts at public appearances with women. At the same time, they continue to receive under-the-radar abuse from some of their other teammates and Mario has a falling out with his father over the issue.
When Leon discovers a dildo in his trousers in the locker room, he demands to know who on the team takes issue with his true sexuality. Mario, who has just learned he has been accepted to play first league in the new season, tries to ease the tension while simultaneously claiming he is in a relationship with “his girlfriend”, who is in reality his best friend Jenny. Hurt that Mario so easily continues to publicly deny his homosexuality and their relationship, Leon quits the team and moves back to Germany. Heartbroken, Mario puts all of his energy into training, eventually receiving contract offers from both his hometown club and a club in Hamburg. Knowing Mario will want to play in Germany to be nearer Leon, Mario’s agent meets with Jenny and convinces her to go with him, citing his need for emotional support.
Mario scores the winning goal in the first match of the new season, garnering him press attention. While he and Jenny initially pose as a couple, Jenny succumbs to complexity required of being in a high-profile relationship and the two “break up”. Mario visits Leon to apologise for his past behaviour, and in the hopes they can repair what they had, but discovers Leon has quit football seriously and has found a new partner. Leon explains that lying every day was causing him severe emotional distress, with which Mario empathises. Claiming he “is not brave enough” to leave football behind in order to live as his true self, Mario returns to the professional league and becomes a nationally celebrated sports star, depressed and alone.

3 ERAS of GAY SEX in 3 Minutes by Leo Herrera
“3 ERAS of GAY SEX in 3 Minutes”– Viral Valentine Film Celebrates The History and Power of Gay Sex, Fetish & Cruising
An Original Three-minute Film by Leo Herrera Visually Spans The History of Homosensual Communication from Pre-Stonewall to Present Day
Leo Herrera, an SF -based visual artist, filmmaker, writer and advocate with a focus on cataloging and presenting gay history. His new project is FATHERS, a sci-fi short web series that imagines AIDS never happened, and a generation lived. His 2015 short, “3 ERAS of GAY SEX in 3 Minutes” is an original piece illustrating 3 generations of gay sex in three-minutes, featuring Pre-Stonewall cruising; 1970’s/80’s Leather BDS&M; and Present Day App usage, filmed in NYC and San Francisco.
Instead of presenting gay history as sexless or focusing solely on AIDS, the film celebrates Gay Communication in its most sensual form, through the glances, codes and technological breakthroughs that have allowed gay sex and gay communities to flourish through generations of oppression.
Taking us on a time machine into archetypes of Gay Sex and the unspoken communication methods of these communities, “3 ERAS of GAY SEX in 3 Minutes” informs us and a wider audience, of the rich sexual history of the modern gay male; the symbolism and power of our once ‘secret’ encounters; and a glimpse into the infrastructure of deviant gay communities that are the foundations for the modern gay civil rights movement.
There is a love for gay culture and iconography that vibrates in the film, from the setting of historic landmark Julius, the SF army barracks and a sex dungeon, to the soundtrack, which features poetry from Walt Whitman, Truman Capote and human pup play master, Pup Boss Jyan. The film stars Gay Hip-Hop artist, Rikki Crowley and HIV Activist Zachary Barnett. It touches upon the themes of technology, PrEP, the closet and gay S&M in a way that’s tasteful and romantic.
“This film is about sharing a facet of our history that is rarely represented in mainstream gay media,” said Herrera. “While I applaud the strides we’ve made in our mainstream visibility, it sometimes comes at the expense of our sexuality. Gay fetish is treated as a punchline, or punished with disease. The drag queens and gay characters I see on television do not represent what I see at Folsom Street Fair, or at a Brooklyn gay warehouse party on a Saturday night or any of the Eagles in the country. There is an inherent romance to cruising, a jolt of electricity to our secrets and codes, that’s what this clip is about.”
“The idea that as a culture we DO have a past, present and future is something that is very, very powerful. We didn’t come out of nowhere, and we haven’t been standing around waiting to be “accepted”, and we aren’t this monolithic culture that will just be part of any “mainstream”, there are too many facets and subcultures. Who better to tell these stories than ourselves.”
The film is a followup to Leo’s “The Fortune Teller,” the 2013 Pride Month Viral hit that presented 50 years of Gay History in 5 minutes, garnering 50,000 hits during Gay Pride Week.
About “3 ERAS of GAY SEX in 3 Minutes”
“3 ERAS of GAY SEX in 3 Minutes” is Leo Herrera’s most ambitious project to date. It’s comprised of all original footage filmed in iconic gay locations, such as Julius, the Army Barracks in SF, and a gay sex dungeon in Brooklyn. Costumes were provided by Mr. S Leather in SF and the Leatherman in NYC. Leo worked closely with producer Jonathan Daniel Federico, a fellow NYC filmmaker as well as filmmaker Aron Kantor and cinematographer Nathan Lee Bush to realize his vision.
About Gay/Artist and Activist Leo Herrera
“I grew up an illegal Mexican immigrant in Republican Arizona, as far from “gay” as possible. Yet, the challenges and hopes I’ve faced as a gay man are the same as all of my peers across the world, as if homosexuality can transcend culture, geography and race. Homophobia is the same in New York City as it is in Russia, HIV and its stigma are as devastating in the South as they are in San Francisco, our sexual freedom is as reviled in America as in Uganda…and yet we are all moving forward on a global scale: our contributions to nightlife and the arts are as pronounced in Berlin as they are in Provincetown, the legalization of our unions is spanning continents, the unmistakable softness of our gestures transcends language. I don’t know if these universal similarities make homosexuality a culture, a race or a shared experience. What I do know is that they stir a deep pride in me that is almost religious.”
