Eersgeorene explores identity and sexuality within the Afrikaans minority culture of post-Apartheid South Africa through a fable about two brothers who descend into matricide and madness on a remote ostrich farm.

This is a thesis film for the film course at New York University. The director has already participated at Cannes, Berlin, Sundance and Venice.

Directed by the South-African director of Greek descent Etienne Kallos.
